We had some heavy rains the last two days in Cheyenne. These pictures are from Tuesday night. Someone sent them to me. I'm really glad I was at home!

Growing and Sleeping

Irelynn went to the Drs. last week and she is now 9lbs 8ozs. She is just growing like crazy. It just happens so fast. When we first brought her home and put her in the bassinet, she looked so tiny. Now she takes up a lot more room in there. I think she will grow out of it in a few weeks. Its just really amazing how much they change. She is also turning into a really good sleeper. She will sleep anywhere from 4 to 7 hours! Last night she slept from 10pm to 5am. She is such a good baby and lets her mom get lots of sleep (Dad always gets to sleep). Here are just a few pictures. I need to take more!

Just Hanging Around

Here are a few pictures since we haven't posted in awhile. I'm not doing to well with the whole blog thing but I will try to be better. I need to take more pictures too. Irelynn is still eating up a storm. She is a hungry baby and seems to be growing every day. She stays up a few hours a day now. She is a good baby though. She just sits and kicks and squirms and makes cute little noises. She mostly only cries when she is hungry. She is sleeping pretty well at night too. She is kind of a loud sleeper. She grunts and makes all kinds of noises in her sleep. She must be dreaming about something. Last night she slept in four hour blocks! That was really nice.

She's Growing

We went to Irelynn's second drs appointment last week and she is growing great. She is now 8lbs 8.5 oz and 21 inches. I was amazed that she had gained almost a pound. She is starting to be a little more awake during the day time. We gave her a first bottle of formula last night. We want to breastfeed the majority of the time but we wanted to give daddy a chance to feed her. Plus we want Irelynn to be able to take a bottle every now and then so the grandparents can babysit without problems.

More Pictutes

I haven't updated in awhile because we have been a bit busy. Plus my rash seemed to get worse there for a few days. I was going crazy with emotions and scratching. I had to start going and getting UVB treatments which is supposed to speed up the rash going away. After I did 3 treatments, I'm happy to say...the rash has finally started to go away! Life is so much better now. I really hope I never get that thing again! It is terrible.

Irelynn is doing great. Eating and sleeping lots. She went to her first drs appointment on June 30th and had gained all her weight plus a little more that she had lost in the hospital. She weighed 7lbs 10.5 oz at the appointment. She has her second appointment today. We will see how big she has grown. I can tell her arms and legs are getting chubbier. It makes me happy to think she must be getting enough to eat.
